North Meols Archers is a small friendly and well established club with activities based in Banks just North of Southport,
Merseyside and within very easy reach of the main Preston to Southport road (A565).
We are primarily involved in target shooting and have nearly twenty members (including juniors) with skill levels from novices to
the very experienced using recurve and compound bows.
Our facilities
Outdoor -
We have sole use of a local playing field from May to September on Sunday Afternoons and one or more
evenings during the week primarily for target shooting at any distance up to 100 yards
Indoor -
Target shooting on Sunday afternoons from October to April, Noon to 3:00pm with target face at
20 yards at Banks leisure centre
It is also possible to shoot with Burscough Archers on Friday evenings from 7-10pm at Banks leisure centre
WE OFFER
Outdoor beginners courses during May to August run by senior club members. Chlidren from the age of eight may
be taught in the presence of a parent or guardian.
